It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Managing Director and founder of the company Mr. Thomas Michael Mockridge.
“Mike” sadly passed away on 10th of November at the Christie hospital in Manchester after a long brave battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mikes loving family and many friends at this sad time
Mike started Mockridge Labels & Nameplates in Hyde back in 1966 before moving to Stockport and then to our current premises in Ashton under Lyne in 1976
Mikes ill heath never stopped his enthusiasm and determination to succeed and he continued to drive the company forward achieving various accolades both here and in the United States throughout his illustrious 59 years within the industry.
The management team are committed to building on Mikes legacy ensuring that we continue to offer our clients both old and new an exceptional service and product range accustomed to what you would expect from one of the UKs Market leaders.
We are continuing to operate as normal during this difficult time, we would like to thank the staff at “The Christie” hospital for looking after Mike during his final days and also thank everyone for their messages of condolence during this very sad time.
The company are currently looking to support “The Christie” Hospital and would ask that any donations made in memory of Mike be sent to Mockridge Labels and Nameplates Ltd for the attention of John Butler
